2009 Championships - Who Won What Grand Prix Championship 2009 (174 Entrants) Having established herself as the UK's top female player, Rachel Rhodes now adds the 2009 Grand Prix Championship to her impressive record. Marcus Wrinch has, month-by-month, improved his game and has rightly clinched Runner-up, narrowly missing out on the #1 spot by just 2.03 points! Perhaps next year, Marcus? Ranking Championship 2009 (153 Entrants. 43 Qualifiers)

# Finally It's been a good year this year. Plenty of entrants and a good, close finish in both Championships. It's good to see new names on the Role of Honour and I'd like to congratulate Rachel and Paul for their #1 spots in their respective Championships and to Marcus I'd like to add my commiserations for just missing out . . . twice! Thanks to all this year's participants, and good luck to you all for 2010 when it all kicks off again in Brighton. . |

Grand Prix Championship after the Barceló Cup, September, 2010 The top four remain in position as Nicky Check slightly improves his lead. Peter Bennet and Phil Tutchings swap places and then the remainder of the Top 8 stay in last month's positions! With one Biba Knockout left this year - Sandy Osborne, October - it will be left to the one remaining Swiss event this year, The November TT, to make some major changes to your position. But, there are still GP Points available at two non-Biba events, The Coventry Open and the Irish Open, and they could be crucial. |

Ranking Championship after the Barceló Cup, September, 2010 Phil Tutchings remains at #1 and Nicky Check jumps from #8 to #2 pushing Paul Barwick down to #3 and Jeff Barber down to #4. Rachel Rhodes jumps in at #5 as Lawrence Powell, Gerry Enslin and Marcus Wrinch all drop down. We lose Stewart Pemberton (now back in the States) and in comes Mark Calderbank at #10. As above, the TT in November will be the last chance to make major changes to the positions, it being a Swiss event with 6 x 11 point matches (although the Sandy Osborne in October will make some changes). To have any chance of winning the Ranking Championship, entrants must at least enter two Swiss events each year to maximise their match wins. |
+
NB: To qualify for the Ranking Championship players must play a minimum of 14, 11-point matches.
When 14 matches is reached, higher scores replace lower ones.
